Cuisine: Mediterranean Diet: Carnivore

Difficulty: Easy Yield: 1 Serving Method: Air Fryer

Prep Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20-25 mins

Total Time: 30-35 mins

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 pita wrap

  • ~1/2 cup of cooked chicken breast

  • 1 tbsp of Feta cheese

  • 1-2 tbsp of tzatziki sauce

  • 1-2 tbsp of cut-up tomatoes

  • 1-2 tbsp of cut-up red onion

  • 1 - 2 Romaine lettuce leaves

  • 1 tbsp of olive oil

Seasoning for the chicken*

  • Salt

  • Black pepper

  • Garlic powder

  • Onion powder

  • Oregano

  • Black pepper

  • Thyme

PREPARATION

1. Grab your chicken breast, cut it into medium-sized cubes, and place it in a bowl. Add the oil and seasonings, then mix them all with a spatula or your hands until the chicken is evenly coated.

2. Place the chicken in the air fryer and follow the cooking recommendations for your specific model.

3. While you wait for your chicken to cook, wash your veggies. Then, grab your tomato and onion, cut them into small pieces, and set each aside in a separate bowl.

4. Grab your lettuce and cut it into long strips, or leave it whole if you prefer.

5. Set the pita wrap on a plate. Spread the tzatziki and hummus evenly onto the wrap, then add the feta cheese and chopped veggies.

6. Once the chicken is cooked, spread it evenly on top of the veggies and enjoy!

NOTES

  • The seasonings don’t have specific measurements because it depends on your preference for flavour intensity. For my chicken, I used 1/2 teaspoon of salt and pepper, and 1 tablespoon of all other seasonings.

  • Feel free to use any oil you prefer when coating the chicken in seasoning.

  • You may use white or whole wheat pita wraps; I used whole wheat.

  • If you don’t have or don’t want to buy all the spices, you can use a premade Greek seasoning instead.

  • Feta cheese can be pricey, so you may choose to make this wrap without it.

  • If you like olives and jalapeños, they would be a great addition to this wrap.
